“You can’t just turn on creativity like a faucet. You have to be in the right mood. / What mood is that? / Last-minute panic.” — Calvin & Hobbes
That quote is brought to me by Zoe. What an absolutely perfect explanation for what I am doing right now. I am currently standing at 41,198. That means tomorrow – and I would say tomorrow before 10pm becuase anything later than that really scares me because of the time needed for verifications, I need to write 9,000 words. HOLY CRAP. Not to mention the fact that I also have homework. But that’s going to take the back burner.
Thanksgiving was thanksgiving. Good, in so many ways. Food, an actually decent time with the fam-fam, and now my allergies are raging to the point where I can stop sneezing or coughing even though I am well away from the said allergens. I have no idea how I lived there all my life. I must have been miserable!
Other than my NaNo panic, I really have little to report. Wisconsin hockey won today, 3-0. Iove hockey so much, and even though my daddy won’t do any of the cheers, it’s still really fun to go with him
I’ll let you know when I win!
Is it just me or was 9,000 words in a day too easy?
Ash, it felt so good to spend all day writing & moreso knowing we were in almost the exact same place with our wordcounts!! It made it feel like we were more connected, even without IM.
I luff you so much!! I can’t wait until next year.
